15th Annual World Micromachine Summit

The World Micromachine Summit is an international forum for delegations of university, industry and government professionals to discuss initiatives in micro and nano technologies and the way in which they deliver economic and social outcomes.

This year's summit will be held from May 5 to May 8, 2009. The theme for 2009 is Energy and the Environment and the host for this 15th Micromachine Summit is the City of Edmonton, in the province of Alberta, Canada.

As a global leader in energy production, Alberta provides an appropriate stage for this year's theme. The program of the Summit is intended to promote dialogue among the participants in order to gain a better understanding of worldwide business and scientific advancements based on micromachine technologies.
